I would win an award like this! Maybe, "biggest blogging slacker" or "most often on hiatus"...Those I would have in the bag!! Thank you, Julie! NOVEMBER 1ST

The rumors are going around that the cut off is 11/1. A rumor rating of R5 is as close to fact as you can get (without being fact hee-hee)! The cut off is posted on the CCAA site for

agencies that pay for access to the site's back office. I normally would not be so excited that they referred 6 days, but these were supposed to be some pretty big days. It's just wonderful for them to FINALLY be working on November.

A TALK WITH AN ALMOST 16 YEAR OLD

Hope: Have you heard anything more on when we might be going to China?

Me: Not really. Rumor Queen was spouting off some stuff that the wait is getting even longer.

Hope: Do you think that China might just say that you and Dad are too old?

Me: Huh???? Hope, China lets people adopt even when they are 50. Dad and I aren't that old.

Hope: Oh. (long pause) But, if Ava gets married when she is 25 then you will be...

Me: Yes, I've done the math. (Sigh)

A TALK WITH A 6 YEAR OLD

Ian walks into the room (looking sad) and climbs on the couch.

Me: Hey buddy, what's up?

Ian: I want Ava to come home RIGHT now!

Me: You and me both, buddy. It's taking just too long.

Ian: Why???

Me: Oh, Ian....I wish I knew......

Ian: I want to be the FIRST one to make Ava smile when we get her.

Me: I have no doubt in my mind .... you will be! Sniff.

The kids are off of school today for yet another snow day! I was in line at the grocery store today and overheard a conversation....The lady was a teacher and said that she NEVER remembers school being cancelled in April for snow.....She has been a teacher over 20 years! We were JUST wearing shorts a few weeks ago!....Okay, the kids were wearing shorts....I wouldn't be caught dead showing my big calves! The kids are going to have to make-up all these days off....The sad part is that the roads AREN'T bad and they really could of had school. This has been the longest winter (and coldest) that I can EVER remember. I'm a person that NEEDS the sun or my mood suffers. I'm really ready to say...Who the hell cares if I wrinkle, I'm going to the tanning salon! Must. Have. Sun.

GRRRRRR

I just started all the paperwork re-do crapola. One of the things they need is a well child letter for each of the kids. All the letter needs to say is....MY CHILDREN ARE SEEN REGULARLY, ARE HEALTHY, CURRENT ON IMMUNIZATIONS AND FREE OF COMMUNICABLE DISEASES. Ian was JUST at that stupid office last week. They are making him come back in because that wasn't considered a well child visit! I made an appointment for Monday and asked if I could have the letter then. I hear a loooong pause and she said...."Does it have to be typed?" I said, "It's only one sentence!" I'm SO finding a new doctor!

WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?

Why do I fall for these rumors every month? First.....They say that referrals have been mailed.....WRONGO! Then..... They say that the cut off will be sometime in the first week of November.....DOUBT IT! AND..... Where will I be again next month? Yup, I'll be on the Rumor Queen site!
