WHEN WILL IT END?????
The kids are off of school today for yet another snow day! I was in line at the grocery store today and overheard a conversation....The lady was a teacher and said that she NEVER remembers school being cancelled in April for snow.....She has been a teacher over 20 years! We were JUST wearing shorts a few weeks ago!....Okay, the kids were wearing shorts....I wouldn't be caught dead showing my big calves! The kids are going to have to make-up all these days off....The sad part is that the roads AREN'T bad and they really could of had school. This has been the longest winter (and coldest) that I can EVER remember. I'm a person that NEEDS the sun or my mood suffers. I'm really ready to say...Who the hell cares if I wrinkle, I'm going to the tanning salon! Must. Have. Sun.

I hear ya - this cold stuff is about to make me completely whack!
Making up snow days is the worst! I can't imagine having to make up April snow days. Poor kids...POOR teachers! :)
The only good thing about April snows - they don't stick around long.
It is yucky out! Heavy and wet. Ugh! Hope it melts soon.

Sorry about the snow day. Our kids had school as usual, but I think they'd have preferred a snow day!
We have a cold front coming in tomorrow, high of 80 or 82, this could completely ruin our boating day. BWAWAWAWA!!!!

I don't deal with snow in Fl, but a week ago it hit like 29 or something... and I've been in north Fl for 20 plus years... that was a first! We were in bathing suits 2 days prior... and we are again... well,not me. Thigh issue.
Tummy issue. You know.
We aren't getting the snow but we are getting downpours and wind like I have never seen. Knocked over our gas grill last night on the patio - and it smashed...ruined. I hate this weather - need warm and sun...fast!
We are starting to put the international mothers group together if you are still interested. We're looking to see how many women are in the area who would like to participate!
