My Little Valentine

DTC 2/10/06

I realize that I am 2 day's late in posting about being DTC on Friday. Thank the Lord
everything went off without a hitch. Our dossier arrived at GWCA one day earlier than
required. They must be in by 10:00 A.M. Wednesday in order to be sent to China on
Friday. I immediately checked my email on Tuesday to confirm that my dossier was in
the hands of my case worker. I opened the email and there was mail from Angela Swift
@ GWCA! I was expecting to see confirmation but, instead she said she was no longer our
case worker (she got a promotion) and someone else was handling our case.............OMG,
NOOOOOOOOO! But, I sent my dossier to her attention!!! I am freaking out at this point
(let me tell you, it doesn't take much to set me off) because, I picture our precious dossier
lost as she is moving her thing's to her new desk! Well, I freaked out for nothing. I was able
to get confirmation later that day that our dossier was safe and sound. I was a nervous wreck
until we got the call on Friday that our dossier was off to China. It was exactly 6 month's and
1 week after we began the process. So, what have I been doing since it became official that
we are DTC? SHOPPING of course! There is an adorable ladybug line of clothing @ Gymboree
and Gap kids has the cutest ladybug P.J.'s! My husband has a look of fear in his eye's since
the shopping has begun! I HAVE to keep myself occupied during the wait!
