11 MONTH LID ANNIVERSARY
It's hard to believe that we have reached 11 months since our LID. I'll never forget that last day we met with our social worker (I think it was back in October, 2005) and she said we would probably be traveling to China in February, 2007. After she left, I told Jeff I thought she was way off with that prediction....... I thought FOR SURE we would be in China by Christmas, 2006 if not before. I guess she was WAY off in her prediction......Who knew it would take this long. I've actually become quite settled lately with the wait. I know we will get there........Ava is worth waiting for.....Good things always are!

Sorry the wait has gotten so long..but you are right, she is worth the wait. Do some retail therapy..always made me feel better ; )

Hang in there... I think we are on the down swing now.
I was with you last October thinking it was possible we could be home by Halloween. USCIS took care of that dream, then we were thinking Christmas in China...
Maybe next year!
With an early March LID I feel really confident that you'll be referred before the end of the year (worst case). My best case prediction is early October!

You all seem to change to the next month just that little bit before me and it always makes me sooo happy to see that next number up on all your blogs!!
I'm more settled with the wait too, which is wierd. I think we've all just come to grips that there really is NOTHING we can do about it, so why worry ourselves over it!
Sometimes easier said than do though!

It seems like many of us hit that wall, and now seem to just take it as part of the process. It feels much better on this side of the wall! :)

Starting to think that song, "Ain't no mountain high enough" might actually be true... up until a month or so ago, the mountain just looked too big, too hard.
