THE NUMBER EIGHT
Today's post is being brought to you by the number eight. Our dossier has been logged in to China for eight looooooooooooong months. In case there is anyone out there that is wondering why I have a picture of the magic eight ball (you obviously AREN'T in the process of adopting from China) it's because asking the magic eight ball is probably our best guess as to when we will be getting our referral. Sad. I. Know. We at least have 8 months behind us.....THAT part is good. Happy 8 months to my LID buddy too.

Happy 8 to you !!! Hey can you check in with "the mole"? The rumors are getting a little depressing again. I'm not liking the sound of 24 months wait being optomistic.

I will make sure to see what "the mole" has to say. I might not be able to find out until Thanksgiving time. My friend should be seeing her relative then. The relative works for the adoption agency.

Eight months! Wow I remember being there and just being told it was going up to 9 months wait, then 12 then 13 and here we are hopefully NEXT! Our LID is Sep 7 so we are right around the cutoff timing.

Congrats on making it to the 8 month mark! Only time will tell what that means for us... No matter, don't forget to celebrate. Every little milestone deserves some special recognition.
