Weigh In Wednesday


This little lady was outside our back door the other night. She was in the same vicinity as where I stepped on the mouse a couple months ago. This is just another reason why I will never venture out without shoes on in the dark. Why the picture of the turtle? I think this turtle pretty much sums up my metabolism............very sloooooooow. I decided that my metabolism needed a kick into gear so I ordered a product (all natural) that is "supposed" to do just that. I tried it for the first time yesterday and I was down 1 pound! Before you start to congratulate me I must tell you.............I had gained weight over the weekend and was actually a 1/2 pound heavier from where I started. From. Where. I. Started. I will let you know if I have any success with this product. If it works for me I will scream the name of it from the roof tops. If it doesn't, I will talk bad about it on the blog. I'm sure with my 4 loyal reader's it will hurt them.....HA! It is supposed to have a 100% guarantee or your money back. We will see. So tell me how you all are doing................

I forgot to weigh myself this am and now I've just finished eating lunch so I can't go weigh now...overall I'm down a few pounds (like 3-4) but my clothes are a bit looser, which is always a nice feeling.

I'm going to the doctor today for a eye drop prescription and decided since I'm due to wiegh in next week, I may as well just do it while I'm there today...a week early....instead!

I'll come post later what the results were!!

I bought a pair of size 7/9 shorts today without trying them on in the store first. This has always been my size since having the twins. Let me repeat myself. ALWAYS.
They didn't fit.

Lisa,
Well, I have very good news this week. I stayed on track and watched what I ate and did some more walks at the park. I jumped on the scale this morning to see that I had lost 4 lbs!! I had to do it twice to believe it. I am now up to 12 lbs! Let me know how the new stuff works and congrats on the loss!

So here's my news....

Went to the doctor on week 3 yesterday instead of week 4 and I was the same!! No loss or gain which I guess is good???

I'm blaming my halt to starting at the gym!! lol It's all muscle gain!!! lol

Hope next month it's back to loosing some more!!

How am I doing with the weight loss... hmmmm. Well, even with no scale, I can tell that I have gained weight since my stay here in "That 70s House". What else has there been to do? I am anxiously looking forward to moving so that I can start cooking healthy foods again and get back on some sort of regular exercising routine. However, I am not looking forward to seeing the scale again!!! I guess the "vacation" is over!

I didn't weight in on Wednesday. I did however manage to step on the scale this Friday morning before a doughnut. I weigh 184.6lbs. Ugh! I hate stress eating!!!

Love the turtle shot. I've two RES water turtles in my kitchen. They are sweet.

I'm a little slow in posting. I am UP three pounds. I swore I wasn't going to post until I could post a positve. Well, maybe that is my problem. I stayed the same for two weeks, lost one, and now up three. I guess in reality I am only up two. :) How is that logic.

Forgot about posting on WEIGH IN WED.... Sorry... Me??? SAME but was really good at not eating after 730pm.... worked great when I was working until 1130pm then off to bed... On my days off, kind of forgot a few nights.... I feel lighter, though!!

I've moved on. I got rid of my clothes that don't fit and have accepted that I'm 35 and this is the shape I'm in. So be it!!!!!I'm happy.

I hear ya, Sister!!! I stopped drinking coffee and eating sweet biscuits (Tim-Tams and other chocolate biscuits are CHOCOLATES, not SWEET biscuits) at the end of May. It's been awful. I don't miss the coffee anymore (replaced that with Chai Tea - mmmmmm) but I do miss the odd sweet biscuit with my hot drink. BUT, instead of eating biscuits, hubby has gotten into the habit of bringing CHOCOLATE home! I never used to eat chocolate! Now Í eat it almost everyday!!!
